it is finished in alden vintage white and has an attractive. a bolt on neck design is incorporated. the maple neck has a c profile and a rosewood fingerboard. the neck feel is a hybrid precision/jazz. not too fat and too slim!
fitted with two passive entwistle vx64b pickups (see specifications). custom wound to alans exact specification for this instrument. these classic pickups with real alnico magnet structure and double row poles to give a rich balance output. alan insists on using only authentic enamel winding wire because he feels that this works better. both pickup are mounted on chrome surrounds and are height adjustable.
