The shells are constructed of Japanese maple, which is not only amazingly strong and durable, but also produces sharp, crisp slaps and strong bass tones. The chrome-plated, die-cast rims are solid and sit low on the head, allowing for a comfortable playing experience.
These bongos are fitted with genuine buffalo hide heads, which are extremely resistant and can withstand even the hardest hits, and provide a full, rich, authentic sound.
