hand made in the g&l factory, fender avenue, fullerton, california, using much of leo`s original tooling and designs, these g&l guitars really are the very top of the guitar league!
the comanche features leo`s `z-coil` pickups, producing a massive strat sound, with much original vibe and style but the hum canceling design of the split coils ensures the tone is free from external interference and hum, often caused by electromagnetic interference from lighting and other sources.
in addition to the normal 5-position strat style pickup selector the comanche has an extra toggle switch giving a total of 7 pickup selections, introducing all 3 pickups together or the bridge and neck pickup together. these extra sounds add further dimension to the versatility of this instrument... which truly is one of the very best guitars on the market.
