The Hudson HDGT Gold-Star has the distinctive full and rich tone that you would expect from a semi-acoustic. The Gold-Star is ideal for jazz, rock and blues players and is designed primarily to be used with an amplifier. The HDGT produces tones that are hard to achieve with a solid bodied electric guitar. The Gold-Star is loaded with a pair of single coil soap bar pickups. These produce a very warm yet bright tone which breaks up nicely and rolls back to a mellow clean tone. The Hudson HDGT Gold-Star has the classic looks of a 50’s guitar complete with a beautiful gold top finish and a Bigsby tremolo system.
