The Hudson HDVJ Jazz Sonic is a traditionally designed semi-acoustic guitar. The HDVJ features an archtop with a large hollow soundbox, violin-style f-holes, a floating bridge and a magnetic pickup. The Jazz Sonic is very effective for all Jazz playing styles including ‘comping’ with chords or walking basslines. Plugged in, the HDVJ has the distinctive 1940’s tone but also has lots of volume and tone when used without amplification.
