The Hudson HDVS Florentine Sunset is a traditionally designed semi-acoustic guitar. The HDVS features an archtop with a large hollow soundbox, violin-style f-holes, a floating bridge and a magnetic pickup. The Florentine Sunset is very effective for all Jazz playing styles including ‘comping’ with chords or walking basslines. Plugged in, the HDVS has the distinctive 1940’s tone but also has lots of volume and tone when used without amplification. The Florentine Sunset guitar is beautifully finished in satin with maple top parallel braces and a single pickup.
