The Hudson Wildwood is a premium quality resonator acoustic Guitar. Hand crafted from highly figured exotic spalt and flame maple.
The old school peg headstock, antique resonator and tailpiece finish enhance the retro vibe of this guitar. Unlike a conventional flat top acoustic, the resonator cone acts like a speaker producing that unique resonator tone. Taking the vibrations of the strings, channelling this through the maple biscuit and speaker cone gives the player a true blues sound somewhat louder than a conventional acoustic with superb twang and cut and a defined bass; An ideal tone for bottle neck blues and finger style acoustic players.
The Hudson Wildwood has a spalt table which is highly figured. The biscuit is made from solid maple and the instrument has a very playable neck which is slightly wider than a conventional acoustic (45mm at the top nut and 55mm at the 12th fret)
The 19 frets are medium and the fingerboard is edge bound. The body depth is 95mm with a multiple cellulose edge binding.
The machine heads are open geared with stable performance seated on an engraved plate in perfect harmony with the peg headstock.
The Hudson Wildwood comes complete with a deluxe fitted Hudson fitted hard case and black webbing strap a spare set of strings and celluloid pick included in the package.
